August 19, 2019 - Thoughtful Planning Visible

All the thoughtful planning is visible now, outside and inside. Safety of 4K Kindergarten students and the public means concrete sidewalks, and blacktopped bus pull offs and roundabouts are being completed. The retaining wall is nearly done. Final stone work is going on the exterior pillars. Inside, the stairs have sturdy railings and carpeting is going on the steps.

After years of planning, fundraising, and extraordinary effort, the Natural Expansion building project is ready. The name of the 12,800 sq. ft. expansion to the Nature Center is the “Dick Resch & Family Learning and Conservation Center.” It houses our innovative, nature-based 4K Kindergarten program and our popular environmental education programs. The main hall and other areas can be rented for weddings, business meetings and other events. The public is invited to come view the inside of the building during this specially designated time.
