How do season pool passes work?: All Season Pool Passes are just $25 per person (ages 2+, resident, and/or non-resident). These passes give the holder access to Resch Aquatic Center, Joannes Aquatic Center and Colburn Pool all summer! Season Pool Passes can be purchased by phone (920) 448-3365 or online. Upon purchase of swim pass, all holders will have their photo taken in order to ensure a secure account. Season Pool Passes may only be used by the holder named on the pass.

1. How old does my child have to be to be able to swim alone?: Patrons need to be 8 years old to be admitted without an adult. All children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult or responsible sibling (15 and older).

2. Do I have to pay if I’m only going to watch my children?: Yes, anyone entering the pool area must pay regular admission prices.

Water depth for each pool is:

Colburn: 3 to 5 feet, 10 feet at diving well, 3 diving boards
Joannes: zero depth entry, 0 to 5 feet at pool well, 13.5 feet at diving well, 1 diving board
Resch: zero depth entry, 0 to 5 feet at pool well, 1 diving board

There are no high dives because they require 13 to 15 feet of water.

5. Can I bring in my own chairs and are strollers allowed in the pool area?: Lawn chairs can be brought in but must stay in the grassy area. Strollers are allowed in the back fence area, but not by the water.

6. Can I bring my own water bottles into the pool area?: No, water is sold at the concession stand.

7. What is the length of Colburn Pool?: Colburn is 25 yards wide and 50 meters long.

8. Is lap swimming allowed? Is there a special time for lap swimming?: Resch will have a designated lap swim area during session 2 & 4 swim lessons or upon request.

Pool temperatures are:

All heaters are set to maintain 80°.

Colburn Pool: $4.00 per person and Joannes/Resch: $5.00

Kids under 2 years old are free.

11. Are t-shirts allowed? Shorts?: Clean t-shirts, any color, are allowed. Soft shorts are allowed. Not allowed are denim, or shorts with studs. Please use the shower before entering the pool area.

12. What is the policy on closing due to inclement weather during open swim times?: Generally, if the air temperature is lower than 70 degrees and/or there are fewer than 15 people in the pool, management may decide to close the facilities for the remainder of the day. For thunder & lightening, pools close & may re-open once it is not seen or heard for 20 minutes. No rain checks or refunds will be given for inclement weather.

13. Can people wear life-saving devices or floating devices?: Coast Guard approved life jackets (Type II or III) are allowed. Water wings, and swim suits with built-in flotation devices are never allowed. Exceptions may be made for disabled patrons. All children wearing a life jacket must be accompanied by an adult in the water. Life jackets cannot be worn on water slides.

14. Can seeing-eye dogs be admitted into the pool area?: Health codes state no animals can enter the pools. A staff person will assist the person in the water. The animal will be tied up.

15. Can I write a check?: Personal checks are not accepted. We will accept checks from businesses (i.e. YMCA, Salvation Army, etc.).

17. Can I bring a birthday cake into the pool?: There are no carry-ins allowed. You may get your hand stamped and have your cake in the park area next to the pool then return to the pool. If you wish to have a private pool party you may rent the pool. Please call 448-3365 for more details. We now offer birthday packages!

18. Can an adult ride with a child on the slide?: Yes, but it can only be an adult with a child, not two children or two adults.

19. Can a child be less than the required height to ride the slide with an adult?: Yes, if they ride with an adult or responsible sibling (15 years or older).

20. What if I find a lost item?: Please return to the pool where the item was lost as all found items will be kept at that location.

22. Are water shoes allowed in the pool?: Water shoes, like Aqua Socks, are allowed in the pools. However, they cannot be worn on the slides or diving boards.
