The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary provides a natural setting for weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, reunions, and other special occasions. Our award-winning Sanctuary is a little slice of the Northwoods — on the north side of Green Bay.

The Nature Center offers a choice of rooms for indoor celebrations. The outdoor Amphitheater and 700 acres of nature preserve offer exceptional open-air settings. Our scenic waterfalls, native landscaping, ponds and abundant wildlife present an extraordinary photographic backdrop to record your special occasion, too.

You are welcome to bring in your own food and refreshments or you may hire a caterer off of the Preferred Caterer List.

May I Have My Birthday Party or Event at the Wildlife Sanctuary Nature Center?

Yes, there are indoor and outdoor spaces available for parties and events. Indoor and outdoor spaces may be used from 8 am to 9 pm seven days a week (call 920-391-3671 for more details).

What Does the Rental Fee Include?

Your rental fee includes the use of the room(s) and/or outdoor location during your rental time slot, a Wildlife Sanctuary Nature Center custodian for your event, daytime hiking trail use, photography locations, and parking for your guests.

Do I Have to Use One of the Caterers from Your Approved List?

You can bring in your own food or choose a caterer from the Preferred Caterer List.

What Do the Caterers Provide and Do I Contact Them Directly?

You contact the caterers directly for pricing information. They will provide all food and beverages, including alcohol, for your event. They will also arrange for rental of tables, chairs, linens and other equipment.

How Many Guests May I Invite?

That depends on your set-up and your chosen location or room. Our Estuary Room maximum is 80 people seated.

Do You Allow Decorations?

Yes, but no nail, duct or electrical tape may be used to hang decorations. All decorations must be removed prior to the end of your rental.

May I Have Music at My Event?

Yes, you may hire a band or DJ. You may also use our sound system to play CDs or an iPod.

What Part of the Facility Is Available for My Guests?

Daytime guests may use the outdoor and Nature Center Amphitheaters or lower level rooms. Evening guests may use the Main level, Lower level Rooms, outdoor or Nature Center Auditoriums. Evening guests must be in or immediately around the main building. The trails are closed after 4:30 pm.

Where Are My Guests Allowed to Park and How Many Spaces Are Available?

Parking is free in any of our parking lots. We have 120 parking spots, and during evening events, guests may also park along the entrance road.

May I Store Materials for My Event at the Nature Center?

No, nothing may arrive until the day of your event. All materials must be removed immediately following your event.

All rental events are scheduled with our secretary. Please contact her directly to check for availability and rental fees at 920-391-3671.

Checks made payable to Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary and Discover, MasterCard or VISA.

Is Smoking Allowed?

No, the entire Wildlife Sanctuary, its buildings and trails are smoke-free.
