What Are Your Hours?
The park is open for hiking year round from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. For information about when various buildings and the Stop-n-Gander Gift Shop are open, please click here.

Where Can I Buy Corn to Feed the Waterfowl?
Corn is sold at the Observation Building. Change is available from 10-3.
Feed ONLY the ducks and the geese. Other animals can get sick from eating corn.

When Is the Gift Shop Open?
With the help of our volunteers, our gift shop is open from noon-4:00pm daily.

Do You Allow Dogs in the Park?
We do not allow dogs or any pets anywhere in our park. If you need to leave your dog in your vehicle, please remember to crack the window open. Please leave your dog at home if the temperature outside is really warm or really cold.

Are Bikes, Skateboards or Roller Blades Allowed in the Park?
Only on main roads that vehicles drive. Please walk on all of our trails and through exhibit areas.

Do You Have a Lost and Found?
Yes, it is located in the Nature Center office.

We have a wheelchair available for rental.

Is Smoking Allowed in the Park?
The Wildlife Sanctuary is smoke free. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the park.

Are Snowshoes Allowed on the Trails?
No. Our trails are groomed for skiing.

When Are Your Ski Trails Open?
Once there is snow on the ground, the hiking trails become groomed ski trails. The gates are open from 8-4:30 daily.
