The Friends of the Wildlife Sanctuary provide funding in the form of a stipend for 5 internship positions each year. Three internships are in the Animal Care/Rehabilitation program, one in Environmental Education and one in Invasive Species control. All of the intern positions were designed to provide a junior, senior or college graduate the opportunity to gain practical experience in their field. The application period opens in January and ends in March of the current year. Internships are generally completed during the summer months.
