Electronics Recycling Drive
Out with the Old, In with the New!
Friends of the Wildlife Sanctuary and Norsec Computer Recyclers will hold an Electronics Recycling Drive at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary on January 14th, 2012 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Drop off old TV’s, computer equipment, household electronics, household appliances and many types of batteries. Click here to download a printable flyer with more details.

Drop off area will be in the lower parking lot of the Nature Center at the Wildlife Sanctuary. Some recycling fees may apply. A portion of the recycling fees will go to support the Friends of the Wildlife Sanctuary.
Frosty Family Fun Night
All are invited to come on out to the Sanctuary on Saturday, Feb. 4th, 2012 for a great night. Join us for a night hike, snowshoeing, treats, crafts, live animals, bonfire and great live music by the Good News Band.

Easter Event
The Friends of the Wildlife Sanctuary will once again be holding their annual Easter Event Saturday April 7, 2012 at the Sanctuary for kids age 3-8 and their parents. Activities will include making an Easter bag, working on simple craft projects enjoying cookies and punch and hunting for eggs.

Green Bay Kids Day
Celebrate Green Bay Kids Day at the Sanctuary! This event is requested annually by the Mayor of Green Bay. It’s held on June 25th – six months from Christmas!

Annual Walk for Wildlife
Walkers are invited to enjoy 2.5 miles of scenic trails. Live animal stations are found throughout the walk. They include Sanctuary animal ambassadors, artifacts, and educational information about the animals.
All participants are invited to enjoy refreshments before and after the walk. Also, family performer Randy Peterson will be entertaining all starting at 11am!

Autumn Adventure
Join the Thursday Morning Breakfast Optimist Club for Kid’s Autumn Adventure at the Wildlife Sanctuary. There will be lots of fun activities for kids and their parents. The Optimists will also be serving FREE lunch! All ages are welcome and all activities are FREE!

Annual Halloween Event
The 19th Annual Halloween Event will be held at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday, October 20, 2012 beginning at 6:00 PM. This is a fun family event suitable for all ages. Kids are welcome to come in their costumes!
Our event includes a pumpkin lit walk through a darkened Nature Center where participants will encounter various animals portrayed by area youth. These animal characters will educate you about themselves and their wild ways in a fun and light-hearted way.
