Volunteer Spotlight:   Barb Mogilka
Why did you become a WLS volunteer?
We moved to Green Bay when our 4 children were young and I visited the Sanctuary often. It’s always been a favorite place! Now as a Grandma I’ve brought my grandchildren to WLS and they love it as much as I do. So when I retired it was the place I wanted to give back to—it continues to be a great experience and I am grateful.

What do you enjoy about being a WLS volunteer?
I enjoy many things…. working with the animals, learning about them and their stories. I enjoy the staff and appreciate the opportunities that are offered, everything from rehab, preparing diets, and of course all the daily cleaning to keep our animals healthy. I continue to learn new things and I enjoy that very much.
